TASTEFUL NUDE ART
As a young man, I was always intrigued by anything linear. I could stare at an electric power plant with all the geometric lines or watch carefully as the sun coming through the blinds lighting the room with horizontal lines on everything. At the same time, I began to discover the beauty of hardwoods with colors and grains as well as softer woods
that seemed to lack the grain and color. I also fell in love with the human form having no hard lines but instead a continuous flow of skin creating interesting shapes naturally.
This is what these art pieces are all about! They don't appear starkly nude but only a suggestion of nude that appeals to almost everyone. So enjoy the site...and if you would like to own one of these pieces or have one done of you, please contact me.

At Work
Each piece of wood added to the piece is cut to fit and quickly sanded before gluing. Strips of the wood being used are cut into 3/4" wide, 1/4" thick on a table saw before smaller tools are used in the final stages of assembly.
After cutting, spring loaded curtain rods are use to hold each piece in place until glue dries. To give the piece depth, different spacing is used between each piece.The process is slow; "Free Spirit" took about 40 hours to complete.
This piece will soon be finished and will be amazing. I am using some really beautiful woods; purpleheart & bulbina on a western mahogany background. Keep watching this site...it will be outstanding!
